Hi, I’m Steph (she/her).

I’m a coach and certified Internal Family Systems practitioner.

I love helping people live happier, more fulfilling lives. I work with clients to tackle a variety of problems: building confidence, coping with challenging relationships, working toward a promotion, work-life balance and, of course, the big question of what to do with your life.

I bring all of myself into my coaching, including wisdom and struggles from my growth journey, as a leader and non-profit director, years of work experience in the environmental field, and of course, my obsessive self-improvement schemes (from self-compassion, to overcoming the need to be special to just being ok).

Meditation has been a big part of my personal development and is significant in my daily routine. I was pleased to join John Davisi to record a practice “Finding Your Embodied No”- available on Apple Music, Spotify and YouTube.

Background & Training

My Story

As a kid, I was obedient-- a rule follower, a good student, and a well-behaved daughter. This worked for me until it didn’t. After college, years of discontented 20s, cross-country moves, and grad school, I found myself in an existential crisis in my early 30s. I had a fresh masters degree, high expectations, and no job; I didn’t know who I was without work.

I didn’t know what I wanted in my life or how to even articulate the doubt, fear, and overwhelming dissatisfaction I felt. Add a break-up on top, and I began to scour the self-help section, found a therapist, finally started a regular meditation practice after years of dabbling and “shoulding” myself. I reengaged with writing, drawing, collage, and other creative practices that I had dropped to become “serious” about my career.

I changed careers. I became a coach, worked for the Search Inside Yourself Leadership Institute, started facilitating workshops, and trained in Internal Family Systems. Most importantly, I stopped feeling like life was passing me by and started getting clear about what I most love and want, and started feeling incredibly grateful to have the life I do.

I believe happiness is an outcome of knowing yourself and feeling comfortable in your own skin. I truly believe that people can change, but only if they want to. As a coach, we focus on your goals. I mainly use Internal Family Systems (IFS) as a way to shift old, stuck patterns in your life and career, transform that vocal inner critic into your biggest cheerleader, and find a sustainable source of happiness, calm, and courage.

I try to live what I coach and am constantly growing and developing myself in the same ways that I encourage my clients to grow.
